Kathy Jones
Kathy Jones (1947) is a Priestess of Avalon, Priestess of Goddess. She is deeply connected to the Landscape, Culture and Creativity of the Sacred Isle of Avalon as expressed through the physical and spiritual environment of the small country town of Glastonbury in southwest England. Kathy is Founding Mother, Creative Director & Temple Weaver of Glastonbury Goddess Temple, Goddess Hall & Goddess House.
She is also Founding Mother of Glastonbury Goddess Conference which was initiated and created in 1996 with the help of Tina Redpath and is the Initiator of the Vision of Motherworld and of the Sacred Birth Centre.
Kathy is the Founder of the 3 Spiral Training to become a Priestess or Priest of Avalon. She is a ceremonialist, teacher, writer, wounded healer, initiator, Temple Melissa and sacred dramatist.
She is the author of many acclaimed Goddess books, from The Ancient British Goddess, 2001 (Italian ed. La Dea nell’Antica Britannia, Psiche2, 2013), including most recently Remembering the Nine Morgen. The Nine Sisters of Avalon, 2018 (Italian ed. Le Nove Morgen. In 2018 she received the ASWM Demeter award for Leadership in Women’s Spirituality.
