About Us
The International Conference Crone’s Wisdom is an idea by Luciana Percovich following a long cycle of research, which began in Italy about 10 years ago, exploring the passage through the fourth quadrant of the Wheel of Life. This research was shared within the Crones Circles and during online meetings held during the pandemic, which later evolved into true moments of self consciousness.
Then, in 2024, a small group of five women, after reviewing and reflecting on the materials produced, co-authored and published Cronario. Parole Mutate Mutanti – Dizionario per Immaginare Futuri Diversi (Vanda Edizioni) under the name Anonima Crone. This work also served as the foundation for a podcast.
The Conference, therefore, represents the natural conclusion of this long path and offers an opportunity for women who are Crones today to meet and to tell to the Sisters of the Future about the choices, projects, and themes they nurtured over the decades since the 1970s, leaving a legacy to help us imagine Different Futures.
On the first day of the conference the Themes at the Roots will be explored with Genevieve Vaughan, Heide Göttner-Abendroth and Joan Marler; the Paths of Spiritual Research will be explored with Max Dashu, Kathy Jones, Cristina Biaggi e Starhawk.
On the second day, we will discuss Indigenous Cultures around the World with Barbara Alice Mann, Francesca Rosati Freeman, Maria Suarez Toro e Paola Melchiori; to Political Practices in Italy will be explored with Annarosa Buttarelli, Alessandra Kustermann and Maria Palazzesi.
The Conference will also include convivial moments, as well as spaces for dialogue and debateand On Saturday evening is scheduled a concert by Agadez, Queendoms Unplugged
On Saturday morning, Kathy Jones will open the Conference with a Welcome Circle Ritual.
On Sunday evening Morena Luciani Russo will lead the Shamanic Closing Ceremony of the Conference.
The aim of the Conference is to foster an exchange of knowledge, experiences, and practices, and to offer all participants—both speakers and audience members—a renewed sense of strength and a renewed impetus toward effective collective action, here and now.

Parole Mutate Mutanti (Eleonora Ambrusiano, Paola Broggi, Roberta Fenci, Stefania Girelli e Luciana Percovich) – – to which for this occasion, they were joined by Francesca Colombini, Ivana D’Andrea, Carla Ippolito, Francesca Lulli, Veronica Morosi, Ludovica Jaus.

The International Conference Crone’s Wisdom. A Gift for the Sisters of the Future,
will take place from 16th to 17th May 2026
at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne (CIDD) in Rome.
